Your Cluby account is personal. Your name is shown to restaurants when you join as a member or redeem benefits, so we want the details on your account to always be correct and up to date.
How to change your name yourself
You can change your name straight from the app:
Open the Cluby app on your phone
Go to Profile
Tap on your profile (the top section, where your name is shown)
Select Name and type in your new name
Save the changes
Why the name can be changed only once a year
Name changes are limited to once a year so that the account stays recognisable and member benefits stay with the right person. The limit applies to both your first and last name.
If you've already changed your name during the past year
Get in touch at support@cluby.com or via chat, and include:
your current name on the account
the phone number linked to your Cluby account
your current email address
your new name and, briefly, the reason for the change
⏱ The update usually takes 2–3 business days.
Why we sometimes ask for extra details or ID verification
Your name is part of your personal data, and we have an obligation to make sure a change is made at the request of the right person. If your request differs from other details on the account — for example, the account's email or previous name points to someone else — we'll ask for clarification before making the change. This protects you: no one else can change your details.
When a name change cannot be made
We can't change a name if
the new name is another person's name
the account has been used by another person and the name is being changed because the user is changing
the name is against public decency or infringes on someone else's rights
we can't verify that the request comes from the account's rightful owner
A Cluby account, memberships and benefits are personal — they may not be transferred, lent or sold to anyone else. This is set out in Cluby's terms of use (sections 1, 2, 3 and 6). Acting against the terms of use may lead to the account being closed.
Do you need your own account?
If you've been using someone else's Cluby account, the right solution is to create your own account with your own phone number and email. That way benefits, stamps and memberships accumulate for you and stay with you.
💡 Good to know: the phone number is the identifier of a Cluby account. Don't share your number or account with anyone else — you're responsible for what happens on your account.
