What if the event I bought a ticket for gets cancelled?

How the refund works if an event is cancelled, for example due to illness or for another reason:

  • The event organiser (restaurant or club) aims to announce the cancellation as quickly as possible in the Cluby app or through their own channels

  • Once the cancellation has been confirmed, Cluby processes the refund automatically — there's nothing you need to do

When you'll get your money back

  • The refund is paid to the same payment card you used to buy the ticket

  • The funds usually appear in your account within 2–5 working days after the refund is processed

  • Bank processing times may vary slightly, but the refund always happens automatically

Can't make it to the event, even though it hasn't been cancelled?

If you've bought a ticket but can't make it to the event yourself, you can transfer the ticket to another person directly from the Cluby app — to a friend or family member.

  1. Open the ticket in the Cluby app (Purchases tab or the event's own view)

  2. Select Transfer ticket

  3. Enter the recipient's phone number — the same number they've used for their Cluby account

  4. Confirm — the ticket moves instantly

💡 Good to know: Any refunds always go to the original buyer of the ticket, even if the ticket has been transferred to someone else.

Who's responsible for what

  • The event organiser is responsible for running the event itself and for any changes

  • Cluby handles the payment processing and ensures the refund reaches you smoothly and securely
