How to transfer a Cluby event ticket to someone else

Transfer a Cluby event ticket to another person in seconds, straight from the app.

Bought a ticket through the Cluby app but can't make it to the event yourself β€” or want to give it to a friend? You can transfer the ticket to another person easily from your phone in seconds.

Before you start

Have these ready:

  • The latest version of the Cluby app on your phone (App Store / Google Play)

  • An event ticket you've purchased through the Cluby app

  • The recipient's phone number β€” the same number they've used to create their Cluby account

1. Open the ticket in the app

You can find your ticket from:

  • The Purchases tab in your profile

  • The event's own view

2. Select "Transfer ticket"

On the ticket, tap Transfer ticket.

3. Enter the recipient's phone number

Type the recipient's phone number manually, or pick it from your phone contacts.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Make sure the recipient has a Cluby account using the same phone number you've entered. Otherwise the transfer won't go through.

4. Confirm the transfer

Check the recipient and confirm. The ticket moves instantly β€” the recipient receives an email notification of the transferred ticket.

For the recipient

If someone transfers a ticket to you:

  • You'll receive an email notification of the transferred ticket

  • The ticket appears automatically in the Purchases view of your Cluby account

  • No separate acceptance is needed β€” the ticket is already yours

Good to know

  • Refunds always go to the original buyer of the ticket β€” not to the person it was transferred to. If the event is cancelled, for example, the money is refunded to the buyer.

  • Transfer works only in the mobile app, not on the web version

  • The recipient must have a Cluby account using the same phone number

If the transfer doesn't work

Check these in order:

  1. Your Cluby app is updated to the latest version

  2. The recipient has a Cluby account using the same phone number you entered

  3. You're logged in to the same account that you used to buy the ticket

  4. The event organiser hasn't disabled transfers for that particular event (rare)
