Cluby offers three different member card types — from VIP cards to season passes and monthly subscriptions. This guide walks you through what each type means and how to choose the right one for your needs.
1. Open Member Cards
Log in to Partner Hub at partners.cluby.com. From the left sidebar, go to Member Cards.
2. Card types in Cluby
There are three different types of member cards:
Given card
A card you grant manually to specific members — for example to VIP customers, your own staff, or partner communities. The card isn't visible publicly and can't be purchased.
Use this when: you want to offer special benefits to a specific group, e.g. supporters of a local sports club or your team at work.
How to do it: Go to the member's profile → Give cards → choose the right card and venue.
Purchased card (one-time payment)
Customers can buy the card through the Cluby app with a one-time payment. Suitable for example for season passes, pre-sold VIP cards or packaged offerings.
Use this when: you want to sell a membership or package the customer buys once.
How to do it: Click Sell cards → fill in card details, price and benefits → publish.
Recurring subscription card (monthly fee)
The customer subscribes to the card through the app and is charged automatically every month. Works well for coffee passes, lunch passes and VIP memberships.
Use this when: you want steady, monthly recurring revenue and a card the customer commits to for a longer period.
How to do it: Click Sell subscriptions → set up the offer, price and benefits → publish.
3. The card image — gallery or your own upload
The image is an important part of the card's appeal. Recommended size is 1500×900 pixels.

4. Manage your existing cards
You can view and edit active cards in the Sell cards or Sell subscriptions views:
Open the card from the list by clicking Edit
Update the name, description, price or benefits
If you want to hide the card from new customers (e.g. the season has ended), switch on the Hide card from users option
Click Save and Publish
⚠️ Note: Existing cardholders keep their cards even if you hide the card from new users.
Which card for what purpose?
VIP and staff cards → Given card
Season pass, pre-sold package → Purchased card (one-time payment)
Coffee pass, lunch pass, monthly membership → Recurring subscription card
Sports club fan card, corporate partner card → Given or purchased — depends on whether the customer buys it themselves or whether you give it to the partner
