Assigning a member benefit to specific member cards

You can offer exclusive member benefits only to certain customer groups — like VIP card, staff card or season card holders — by assigning the benefit directly to a specific member card. The benefit then appears in the Cluby app only to holders of the selected card.

Before you start

You'll need:

At least one member card created in Partner Hub (e.g. VIP, Staff, Season Card 2026)
Either a new benefit to assign, or an existing one to edit

1. Open Member Benefits

Choose either:

Create new benefit — if you want to start from scratch
Existing benefit — click the ⋮ menu on the benefit row and select Edit

Either way, the three-step wizard opens: 1. Basics → 2. Availability → 3. Review.

2. Step 1: Basics

Fill in the benefit's basic details:

Benefit name * — enter the name in both Finnish and English (you can also add other languages with the + Add Language button)
Offer price — the price the member sees when showing the benefit
Size — an optional volume for the benefit, e.g. 0.33 l or 4 cl
Image — a photo that makes the benefit appealing (recommended 1500×900 pixels)

Click Next.

3. Step 2: Availability — choose the target group

This is the step where you set up targeting to specific card holders.

Venue

The top of the view shows the venue this benefit is being created for. If you manage several venues, confirm the right one is selected.

Choose how often the benefit can be used

🔒 One-time — single use (e.g. a welcome benefit for new members)
♾️ Recurring — can be used without restrictions
📅 Daily — once a day
📅 Weekly — once a week
🗓️ Monthly — once a month

Who can use this benefit?

This is the key choice for targeting. Select Specific card holders.

👥 All members — the benefit appears to all loyalty members (default)
💳 Specific card holders — the benefit appears only to holders of the cards you choose

When you choose Specific card holders, the view opens a Select cards * list showing all your organisation's member cards (e.g. FC INTER VIP, FC TPS VIP, Season Card 2026).

Tick the cards whose holders this benefit should be visible to
You can choose one or more cards — use the Select all link on the right if you want to pick every card at once

⚠️ Important: You must select at least one card. If you don't choose any, the system warns: "Select at least one card — members without a chosen card won't see this benefit."

Click Next.

4. Step 3: Review and confirm

Check your benefit details before creating it:

Benefit name, image and price
Frequency (e.g. RECURRING)
Venue
Availability — you'll see Specific card holders listed along with the cards you chose (e.g. • Season Card 2026)
Visibility — toggle on = the benefit appears to customers immediately when you click Create benefit. If you want to prepare the benefit but publish later, switch the toggle off.

Click Create benefit (for a new benefit) or Update benefit (if you edited an existing one).

💡 Unsaved changes: If you close the wizard without saving, Cluby warns "You have unsaved changes that will be lost." Choose Continue editing to go back or Discard to throw the changes away.

Result

The benefit appears in the Cluby app only to members who hold one of the selected cards. Other members won't see the benefit at all.

VIP benefits — a special benefit offered only to VIP card holders
Staff discounts — targeted at Staff card holders
Season card benefits — an exclusive offer for e.g. Season Card 2026 holders
Partner card benefits — benefits targeted at cooperation partners
