I received a member or staff card — how to add it to the Cluby app

Got a code for a VIP, staff or partner card? Here's how to add it to the Cluby app and start using the benefits.

Did you get a code for a VIP, staff, season or partner card from a restaurant? You can add it to the Cluby app in a few seconds, and the card's benefits will show up on your profile straight away.

What you'll need

  • The Cluby app installed on your phone (cluby.app)

  • A Cluby account created and signed in

  • The card code — given to you by your employer, the restaurant or the community representative. The code is usually a short combination of letters and numbers.

How to add the card to the app

  1. Open the Cluby app on your phone

  2. Go to the My Cluby view at the bottom

  3. Choose Cards

  4. Tap Add card with code

  5. Enter the code you received into the field

  6. Confirm — the card activates immediately and its benefits become visible

💡 Right at your fingertips: Once you've entered the code, you'll automatically see on the restaurant's page also the benefits that have been targeted specifically at holders of this card.

Different kinds of cards

The card you've received could be one of the following:

  • 👑 VIP card — a card aimed at loyal members, often with free entry and special benefits

  • 👷 Staff card — a card given to you by your workplace, with benefits from your employer (e.g. staff-priced meals)

  • 🤝 Partner card — e.g. a card for sports club supporters or business partners

  • 🎫 Season card — a seasonal member card, valid for a set period

Each card has its own benefits, which appear in the Cluby app as soon as you've added the card.

How to use the card's benefits

Once you've added the card:

  1. Open the restaurant's page in the Cluby app

  2. In Member benefits you'll also see the benefits targeted at cardholders — the ones a regular member doesn't see

  3. Activate a benefit at the till the same way as any other benefit: tap Activate → show the 30-second activation view to the staff

If the code doesn't work

The most common reasons and fixes:

  • Check the spelling — type the code exactly as it was given (mind upper/lower case)

  • The code may be out of date — the restaurant may have renewed the code. Ask for a new code from whoever gave it to you.

  • Update the Cluby app to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play

  • Check your internet connection — adding a card needs a network connection

Card validity

Some cards have a set period of validity, after which the card and its benefits no longer appear in the app. For example:

  • A staff card is often valid for the length of your employment or until the end of the season

  • A season card is valid until the end of the season (e.g. the end of the sports season)

  • A partner card can be valid for, say, a year at a time

Can I remove the card myself?

You can't remove a card you've received from the Cluby app yourself. If you want the card disabled, contact the restaurant/community that gave you the card — they can remove the card from Partner Hub.
