Given member cards are cards you grant manually to specific members — VIP customers, your own staff, sports club supporters or your workplace team. The cards aren't on public sale; you decide who gets them.
1. Open Member cards
Log in to Cluby Partner Hub and go to Member cards from the left sidebar. The view shows your venue's cards, cardholders and card type options.
2. Create a new given card
At the top of the view you'll see three options: Sell subscriptions, Sell cards and Give cards.
Choose Give cards → Add new card.
3. Fill in the card details
Name — e.g. "VIP", "Staff", "FC Lahti supporters' card"
Description — what benefits the card brings to the customer. Fill it in in both Finnish and English.
Card image — recommended size 1500×900 pixels. You can either Upload your own image from your computer or use Choose gallery to pick a free stock photo directly from Partner Hub. For more details: How to add an image from the Partner Hub image gallery
Entry and cloakroom — set whether the card includes free entry or cloakroom (especially suitable for nightclubs)
Validity — how long the card stays active
4. Save and publish
When all the details are in, click Save and Publish. The card activates and is ready to give out.
5. Share the invite code with cardholders
Once the card is created, you'll see its invite code (usually a short combination of letters and numbers). This is the easiest way to give the card to customers or staff — they add the card themselves in the Cluby app, and you don't need to send their personal details anywhere.
How to give the code to a cardholder
Copy the card's invite code from Partner Hub
Send the code to the employee/customer (e.g. by email, WhatsApp or print it on a flyer)
The recipient opens the Cluby app → My Cluby → Cards → Add card with code
They enter the code → the card activates immediately, and its benefits become visible to them

💡 Especially handy: for seasonal staff, when you don't want to collect everyone's details separately — give the new employee the code on their first day, and the card is in use right away.
💡 Tip: You can choose the code yourself or update it later. Note that the old code stops working as soon as you create a new one — new card additions can't be made with the old code, but cards that have already been added stay valid.
6. Give cards directly to customers (optional)
If you'd rather not share a code, you can give the card directly to a specific customer from Partner Hub. This works for individual VIP customers whose details you already have in the system.
Go to the Members view
Find the customer and open their profile
Under Member cards click Give card
Choose the right card and venue — the card is immediately active for the customer
Use cases
VIP card — for your most loyal members, extra benefits + free entry
Staff card — for your own team or kitchen staff. Share the code with new employees → they add the card themselves in the app.
Seasonal staff card — e.g. for summer staff, where you can switch off the card after the season
Community card — e.g. for sports club supporters or business partners
