Cluby and Restolution work together so that your customer gets a stamp on their digital Stamp Pass automatically when they pay — the restaurant doesn't have to do anything extra at the till.
💡 Also works without Restolution: a Stamp Pass can also be run with an NFC card or a rotating numeric code — you don't need POS integration for those. See Creating a Stamp Pass in Cluby Partner Hub.
Before you start
You'll need:
A Restolution till with a QR code reader
The API keys Restolution provides for the Cluby integration — contact Restolution support and request the keys
Admin or Organisation admin permissions in Cluby Partner Hub
1. Connect Restolution in Partner Hub
Log in to Cluby Partner Hub at partners.cluby.com
From the left sidebar, go to Settings → Integrations
Find Restolution in the list and click Connect
The Restolution settings view opens, with three sections to fill in:
A) JSON API key
This key is used to fetch Restolution's business units and products.
Click Add API key
Enter the name and secret that Restolution provided for the Cluby integration
Save
B) POS keys
Add all the POS keys Restolution has provided — one for each venue and till terminal.
Click + Add POS key
Enter the key's name exactly as it appears on the Restolution side
Save
Repeat for every till
C) Venue mappings
Link Restolution's business units to your Cluby venues.
Several Restolution business units can point to the same Cluby venue (e.g. a chain operating multiple sites under the same restaurant brand)
💡 Tip: Add the JSON API key first — after that, Restolution's business units are fetched into the list automatically
⚠️ Important: If there are typos in the keys or names, the integration won't work properly. Make sure they match the values Restolution provided exactly.
2. Create a Stamp Pass that uses Restolution
Once the integration is connected, you can create a Stamp Pass that collects stamps automatically through the Restolution till:
From the left sidebar, go to Stamp Passes
Click Create new stamp pass
Give the Stamp Pass a name (e.g. "Lunch Pass")
Choose the stamping method QR code (Restolution POS)
Choose the products that collect stamps — you can search products by name or product ID
Set the number of stamps needed (e.g. 10 stamps → free lunch)
Set the reward product and its price group ID (usually 1)
Save and publish

3. Test the integration
Before rolling the Stamp Pass out to customers, check that stamps register correctly:
Open your own Cluby account on your phone and go to the Stamp Pass
Make a test purchase at the Restolution till by choosing a stamp-collecting product
Show the Cluby app's QR code to the till's QR reader (we're also happy to send you a test QR code)
When the scan succeeds, the till shows the confirmation "Cluby stamp pass OK" and the stamp registers in your app
💡 If the test fails, check that:
The product IDs are up to date on the Restolution side
The JSON API key and POS keys have been entered correctly
The Restolution business unit is mapped to the correct Cluby venue
4. Rollout and staff training
Once the integration is working, roll the Stamp Pass out at the till:
Keep advertising for the Stamp Pass clearly on display next to the till or in a table stand
Tell your staff which products collect stamps and what the reward is
Instruct staff to actively offer the Stamp Pass to new customers
💡 Staff onboarding: Cluby is happy to help with the rollout. Get in touch with the Cluby team at support@cluby.com for a personal walkthrough.
How a customer collects a stamp
The customer orders a stamp-collecting product at the till (e.g. a lunch)
The customer opens the Cluby app, selects the Stamp Pass and taps Collect stamp
The customer shows the QR code in the app to the till's reader
The till reads the code → the stamp registers automatically, as long as the purchase meets the Stamp Pass criteria
Once the customer has collected enough stamps, the reward appears in the app and can be redeemed at the till like a regular member benefit.
Troubleshooting
The stamp doesn't register after the purchase — check that the Restolution product IDs are up to date and that they're linked to the Stamp Pass in Partner Hub
No "Cluby stamp pass OK" message appears — check that the POS key has been entered correctly and that the business unit is mapped correctly
